Navigating Life maintains a secure HIPAA compliant infrastructure for the deployment of application services and databases. An independent third-party firm reviews, monitors, and maintains Navigating Life’s privacy and security standards. Any entity or organization that licenses the Navigating Life software will have a BAA in place.
Navigating Life data is protected under Transport Layer Security protocol. All data is encrypted, including while in transit, to keep your information safeguarded and secured at all times. Navigating Life is powered by LetsEncrypt as the certificate authority and sha256 with RSA Encryption as the signature algorithm.
Users must be invited to join an organization and be added to a group, to view any group data. Only organization administrators can invite users to create an account.
Application Backend Database is encrypted at the filesystem level with AES-256 both at rest and in transit. Data is removed from device memory upon account logout.
Data access is logged by the accessing user. Logs are stored for six years.
Users have a limited view of data based on their role, as set by the organization administrator. Users are required to login with their email and password. Sessions require renewal every 72 hours and expire completely after 2 weeks. User sessions can be renewed via Touch ID or Face ID biometric authentication.
User data will never be sold or rented to third-parties. Navigating Life ensures adherence to rigorous security policies, access controls, and encrypted data protocols.

There is really no limit, the app is designed to scale for your needs but for NL to be properly administered, and for a more private experience, smaller groups are typically more effective.
For Apple iOS users Navigating Life requires iOS 9.0 and later and is compatible with iPhone 5 and up, iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Pro. For Android users Navigating Life requires Android 7 and later and is compatible with all current Android devices that were built after 2016.
