1. Introduction

Navigating Life is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of all users, including individuals who are minors in the jurisdiction where they reside (Children), by preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and ensuring compliance with applicable child safety laws.

While Navigating Life is a private, closed social network, we recognize our responsibility to uphold the highest standards of safety and security within our platform. Navigating Life is committed to fighting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and prohibits users from creating, uploading, distributing, storing or sharing CSAM on its products and platforms. CSAM consists of any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a Child engaging in sexually explicit conduct. This policy outlines our approach to preventing CSAM, reporting CSAM, responding to reports, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • All users with access to Navigating Life, including care providers and families.
  • Organizations that manage user accounts within the app.
  • Administrators responsible for user permissions, content monitoring, and safety reporting.

3. Our Commitment to Child Safety

Navigating Life strictly prohibits any form of CSAM, grooming, exploitation, or endangerment of Children within the app. Our safeguards include:

  • Closed Network Access – Users cannot create accounts independently; all accounts are provisioned by licensed organizations.
  • Secure Community Design – Only verified individuals, such as caregivers and authorized family members, can access their assigned groups.
  • Strict Content Guidelines – All media, text, and interactions must comply with ethical and legal safety standards.

4. Prohibited Activities

We prohibit all users, organizations that manage user accounts, and administrators responsible for user permissions to use Navigating Life in any manner that endangers a child. This includes, but is not limited to, the following acts:

  • Sharing, possessing, or distributing CSAM or exploitative content.
  • Engaging in or attempting to groom, exploit, or abuse children.
  • Using the platform for any activity that endangers vulnerable individuals.
  • Inappropriate interaction targeted at a Child, such as groping or caressing.
  • Sexualization of a Child, such as content that depicts, encourages or promotes the sexual abuse of Children or the portrayal of Children in a manner that could result in the sexual exploitation of Children.
  • Sextortion, such as threatening or blackmailing a Child by using real or alleged access to a Child’s intimate content.
  • Trafficking of a Child, such as advertising or solicitation of a Child for commercial sexual exploitation.

We will take appropriate action to address CSAM, including but not limited to, immediate removal of CSAM from our platform after becoming aware of it, and suspension and termination of your account if you violate this policy. In addition, we may report such confirmed incidents to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or your relevant regional authority.

5. Reporting Abuse or Concerns and In-App Reporting

Navigating Life encourages all users to report concerns about CSAM. Reports can be made through:

  • In-app Reporting: To facilitate the reporting of any concerns, we provide an in-app feedback form that allows users to submit reports directly through our platform. All submissions made via the feedback form are automatically directed to our designated Child Safety Contact, who reviews and addresses concerns in accordance with our safety protocols and applicable policies.
  • Email: Users can send concerns directly by contacting our Child Safety Point of Contact or by reaching out to [email protected].
  • Organization Administrators: Reports can also be submitted to designated group administrators for review.

All reports are reviewed promptly. If necessary, we will cooperate with law enforcement and child protection agencies.

6. Compliance With Laws & Cooperation With Authorities

Navigating Life complies with all applicable child safety laws, including U.S. federal laws on CSAM and exploitation prevention. We work closely with law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations when required.
