Staff Engagement Report

We are excited to introduce the Staff Engagement Reporting Dashboard, a new reporting tool within the Admin Portal designed to help organizations better understand how staff members are engaging with the Navigating Life platform. This feature provides administrators with a high-level snapshot of participation across groups, making it easier to monitor activity, encourage engagement, and identify users who may need additional support or reminders. Key Capabilities in This Release:
  • Organization-Wide Engagement Tracking: Administrators can now view activity metrics across the platform, including the number of posts, likes, and comments made by staff members within groups during a selected timeframe.
  • Flexible Filtering Options: The report includes built-in filters that allow administrators to narrow results based on:
    • Specific groups
    • Individual users
    • Custom date ranges and timeframes
  • Inactive User Identification: The dashboard also includes an Inactive Users section that highlights users who have not posted during the selected date range. This helps organizations quickly identify staff members who may not be actively participating within the platform.
    • Built-In Reminder Tool: Administrators can select inactive users and send reminder emails directly from the report interface to encourage participation.
Why This Matters for Your Organization: The Staff Engagement Reporting Dashboard gives organizations a clearer understanding of how teams are interacting within Navigating Life, helping recognize active participation, identify outreach opportunities, and support stronger posting habits across the organization.

Web Admin Portal Companion Release Notes for Release 3.0.31

New Feature: Introducing the Communication Command Center

We are excited to unveil the Communication Command Center, a dedicated hub within the Admin Portal designed to give you total control over organizational outreach. This new interface streamlines how you send critical information, ensuring that your messages are both timely and targeted.

Key Capabilities in This Release:

  • Custom Push Notifications: Administrators can now draft and send custom push notifications directly from the web portal. These alerts appear instantly on the mobile devices of staff and family members, even if the app isn't currently open (if device notifications are enabled).

  • Targeted Outreach by Role or Group: You no longer have to broadcast every message to every user. The Communication Center allows you to filter recipients based on their Role (e.g., Staff or Clinicians) or their specific Group.

    • Example: Send an "Emergency Closure" alert to a specific residential group while sending a "Policy Update" only to your staff members.

  • Real-Time Alerts for Critical Updates: Use this tool to manage urgent communications such as:

    • Emergency weather closures or onsite changes.

    • New policy or compliance reminders.

    • Upcoming training or meeting alerts.

  • Announcement Management: All notifications sent through the Command Center can be reviewed by users in their app's notification inbox, creating a reliable archive of important organizational news.

Why This Matters for Your Organization: Effective communication in human services is about more than just "sending a message" - it’s about ensuring the right people have the right information without being overwhelmed by irrelevant alerts. The Communication Center reduces "notification fatigue" for your team while providing leadership with the peace of mind that critical updates are being delivered and tracked.
