Navigating Life® is a private app that support teams use to keep families connected to the people in their lives receiving services.
Think of Navigating Life as a secure digital window into what's happening in the program. Instead of waiting for a phone call, email recap, or handwritten note, you can see photos, videos, milestones, and updates shared in real time. It privately extends the program's community online, allowing approved families, staff, and supporters to stay connected and celebrate everyday moments together.
Photos help capture everyday moments that words alone can't. And we know families are often left wondering how their loved one is doing between visits or phone calls.
Your permission matters. Before photos or videos that include your loved one can be taken or shared through Navigating Life, we ask for your written consent.

We understand that no matter the benefits, some people prefer not to participate.
If you choose not to consent, staff won't take or share photos of your loved one through Navigating Life®. You can still receive written updates and stay connected through other ways your organization offers.
Only people receiving or connected to someone receiving services in that program can see the photos, videos and posts. Nothing is ever public or connected to another social media app. The feed is meant to be a digital representation of the physical program community.
Photos cannot currently be downloaded directly from the Navigating Life® app. However, like any private digital platform, we cannot prevent someone from taking a screenshot of content they are authorized to view.
To help protect privacy, Navigating Life is only accessible to approved users who have been invited. Everyone with access is expected to respect the privacy of the people they support, and the consent process reinforces that photos and other shared content should not be shared outside the platform.
We also respect your organization’s privacy. Navigating Life does not use your organization’s photos or program images for marketing, and private photos are not used to train AI models or shared with public AI tools.
No. Photos shared through Navigating Life® stay inside the app, not on public platforms like Facebook or Instagram.

No, you can sign this consent form without an account. If you’d like to also see updates and photos yourself, you can request an account separately.

The app is paid through your organization so there is no cost for families to use the app while enrolled.
